I just caught snowflakes on my tongue!

The ground is absolutely positively covered. It's winter.

Today it's very pretty. In a week I'll be annoyed. lol.

I don't mind snow, except for the driving in it. It's the cold I can't take. And the never-ending darkness. Dark when I leave the house in the morning, dark when I get home. Not seeing sunshine for weeks on end is murder on the psyche. I'm getting prepared.

The almanac says it should be pretty mild here. But still likely much colder than where you are. lol.

I moved to phoenix arizona last year. The weather here is always the same. Full of sunshine and warm is what we see 330 days out of the year. Today, highs will be in the upper 70's and overnights are around mid 50's.

if I want to catch snowflakes on my toung, I have to order them online. In a year or two I will have forgoten all about snow, that is unless I go somewhere to have a little winter weather.

It would be just fine if I did not see Snow for a great while.
I had enough of that stuff. When we lived in Alaska for a year.

I am still trying to spend a day without having to turn on the AC. I turn on the heat twice this year. Once to make sure it was working and the other time to take a chill out of the house at 5am. I have had the AC off as of last night, but I am sure in a couple of hours I will have to turn it on again.

Snow is cute when it first falls and covers everything in a soft white blanket. Then it turns into brown slushy mud, and slippery sheets of ice, LOL and your car door is frozen shut, it takes 30 minutes for the heater to actually start blowing out heat, your windows fog up and then you're blinded by the reflection of the sun off the snow...

i was actually thinking about catching snowflakes on my tongue on my way over to shinders on my lunch break...then i decided against it. i was afraid the snowflakes were toxic and would burn holes through my tongue or somethin. giggle

the snow's winding down a lot now...thankfully there isn't more than a couple inches on the ground now, otherwise i'd be pissed because i gotta walk in it while walking to and from work. rush hour's prolly gonna be hell tonight. eek

I don't think there'll be much of a rush hour as I think you and me are the only people in the country working today. sigh

I think I'm gonna sneak out early, though. woot!

Just Say No! to snow. that shit will rot your brain.

It's above 75 here now, and I am getting ready to drive my car with the sunroof open in a T-shirt and Jeans.

Nope, don't need no gloves or hat, I only need sunblock and I don't care for that.
