my sweet sis I'm feeling sad. Yesterday was my father's 60th birthday and on Tuesday I saw my little sister on her 18th birthday. This small baby...
has become such a big girl... We had some fun on Tuesday, drinking warm chocolatemilk, talking, laughing, hugging. I bought her some flowers and the Indian man who sold them took this polaroid. At the table next to us two older ladies were sitting. They saw me buying the flowers and when I said my sis turned 18 one of them said 'You still have to wait for that special day, don't you?' They turned out to be sisters as well, that have been drinking coffee together for 60 years! On the 7th of January Irina is leaving for Guatemala for six months. Since my parents' divorce we've become pretty close. We don't see each other that much, but when we do, it's always very intense. A big plus is that she's a very big Prince-fan Anyway, as she said she would join this site ... sweet Irina ... I you!

so sweet ...I spoke to my sis the other night she's not really my sister she's one of my best friends but we regard each other as sisters it was her son's birthday yesterday and I called up and he was like "tisse! tisse!" and I was like it's the first birthday I've ever not been there for both him and his 10 year old sister (I missed hers in July)

You're talking about this lady called Harriet, aren't you? Don't get me started on friends who feel like sisters. Not that I have many of them, but there's this one girl, Liske... I've known her since we were three years old. She's very different, but my best friend ever, and I don't care how childish this may sound. After I drank the hot chocolate with Irina I went to a restaurant with Liske. We hadn't done this in ages. Basically it felt like I saw my two sisters, that evening.
