biggrin kitchen/dining/family room in one (our huge sunny room we spend all our time in) but clean? omg the place is a crumb-haven no matter how many times I sweep disbelief the clocks are for Melbourne, Buenos Aires and Stockholm time - so we don't ring up our relatives at 3am by mistake redface

Ah, what a relief. wink See I live in this crumbly old French stone house that is dusty by its very nature. As much as I love old stone & all, sometimes now I see these modern, light and minimalist places (like the one I used to live in) and just sigh. sigh Even tho I remember that place showing every speck of dust there was and driving me crazy en permanence.

Oh, come now! There must be some style about it. I recently started a collection of Danish modern furniture - redecorated "my room" at my parents w/ that stuff, and a lot of 60s "modern" glass... If ya go really simple and modern with it (which it looks like you have done), it's quite funky.
