I don't have a problem with Canadian Thanskgiving. That day's ties are to the European harvest festivals, and have nothing to do with any myth about togetherness and racial harmony or whatever story it is. Americans like to tell us we've got the day all wrong, but I'd say it's the version that's celebrated on your side of the border that's wrong. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!" | |

We didn't have as many people this year at dinner so there's so much stuff left over, especially desserts. We were leaving with whole pies, containers of cookies, and almost a whole cake. I'm about to go into a sugar shock  I love making sandwiches with left over turkey and cranberry sauce....fried turkey  No offense to the people who couldn't make it this year, but I kinda like it when it's not as crowded.
