I would like to point out if a guy is making this type offer there are things about his mentality that can be manipulated. In a sence you can flip his offer on him. This is all about Money and using it a Power in the sense of Control.

That aside though, I think it definitely is prostitution to have sex for money, even when it's done in a roundabout way. You see it all the time, old men with beautiful ladies that you just know wouldn't have given them the time of day if they hadn't had a lot of money (the same thing with reversed genders happens too, but more rarely). The richies might not say "here you have a thousand dollar bill, now sleep with me" but they shower them with gifts and trips and such things. It doesn't make it any different than street prostitution, IMO.
