Dansa's Pet Peeve #55: when "spicy" dinners are anything but i'm currently sitting here eating some kung pao chicken from the chinese restaurant that closest to my house (shanghai wok over on 7th, for those of you in mpls). there's a "spicy" denotation beside kung pao chicken on the menu.
it is NOT spicy. the only heat i'm getting from it is its actual warmth. i've had kung pao dishes in the past that nearly burned my ass to the ground, but this...this is the saddest kung pao dish i've ever eaten. not even a billysparxxx-sized dash of hot sauce could save this shit! oh well...at least it was only $5 and it still tastes good, but still...it's not spicyyyyy!!!!

Keeping a covert of spices is a good way to avoid bland. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.
