But here's two recent ones of me "harvesting" grapes: Nice! I love the feeling in those pictures. You have a classy look (and are pretty!) and there's a lot of action and fun, it seems. I've always wondered about your Org name though. It makes me think of Paris Hilton.

Well thank you. Yes, such things people like that awful Hilton have done to my name. Actually, I got my name originally from Ernest Hemingway's "Garden of Eden" - a character in that book is nicknamed "Heiress." Me and a friend who are big Hemingway fans gave outselves nicknames from his books, years ago (she's Lady Brett). The choices are someone tongue-in-cheek because the characters are rather awful, each in their own way. But the name "Heiress" has, for me, a second connotation of inheriting the earth and the future - for that I like it most.

I've always wondered what you look like, mainly because I've imagined you of a certain "air." And now that I see you, it fits my mental image PERFECTLY! You have this sort of 1940s chic/witty Eurochick thing going on. You could easily be a world-renowned Parisienne intellectual or a starlet strolling the Champs-Elysees back then. But it's made all the more fascinating because, uncharacteristic of either of those archetypes, you have such a strong religious conviction. How cool. ...But don't get a big head, girlie. You have to read his really early stuff - the short stories from "In Our Time" and "The Sun Also Rises..." Hem was a very sensitive guy; the whole macho bit was a lot of frontin'. As for "Garden of Eden"... it's so late, it's early.

[Edited 11/24/05 6:28am] Hey, I was obsessed with old movies as a kid... I mean, ask lilgish about how I rave over his name! Everything from the 10s to the 50s - before VCRs I got up in the middle of the night to watch that stuff! Thanks for all you say, anyway. You are far too kind. But now I want to see if YOUR picture fits the mental aura I have of you!

I doubt it. I find I ususally evoke a certain image, but look considerably different. SensualMelody once told me her mental description of me, and it sounded more like you look. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
