My mama bought me a pair of white ones for my birthday I used to wear those regular Keds too when I was little....you know the plain white ones made for women and girls only

The soles looked like rice krispies and they had that little blue "Keds" logo on the back of them. They weren't very sturdy shoes though...well the canvas ones weren't, the leather ones lasted a little bit longer.
