Watching A Rerun Of The Cosby Show 
An episode that featured only Theo, Vanessa & Rudy.. And I was just wondering.. Would this show still been a success without Lisa Bonet or Sabrina Le Beauf,the two light skinned ones??  [Edited 11/23/05 7:47am] | |

I remember hearing that Bill made sure he had equal numbers in skin tone when it came to the kids.

well, lisa and sabrina were the older ones who ended up getting married and eventually disappearing. practically anyway.
i think that the show would have been a success even if all the kids were more similar in skintone. i like that they're not, though. i think it expands racial definitions, if that even makes sense. i had a friend in college who used to freak out that all of the kids were different colors. she was also jealous because rudy's dark and has really beautiful hair. my friend's hair was so damn damaged. she was jealous of snoop dogg, too but that's for another thread.  | |

I dont think that the success of the Cosby Show had anything to do with anyone's shade of brown. It was just a good show. | |
