Shootout by my job today!!! So I'm at work this morning and, as I do everyday, I go across the street for coffee.
What do I see? Cops everywhere, some with guns, some with dogs, some with rifles, one with a freakin' shield! And a helicopter hovering around...so low that it was blowing leaves all over the place! Seems that some cops spotted a suspicious vehicle down the street from my office, and when they started following them, the crooks shot at the police. Then there was chase, and a crashed car, and then the crooks fled on foot. It was pretty intense...especially seeing cops with semi-automatic rifles walking past the door!!! I get excited at these types of things. On friday, I shit you not, some dude went crazy and killed three of his neighbors in Clearwater. He was holed up in his house, and they had SWAT out there. The whole street was blocked off, but I could see the SWAT vans and the geared up cops.
