I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I remember.
I went on a date and the guy wanted to watch a romantic movie.. but I really wanted to see "Kids". True! When we came out the cinema, he was like oops!

Well sometimes it's good to get your head rocked @ the movies (The House of Sand & Fog, for example - ripped my fucking guts out, I LOVED it ) but to be downright disturbed can be too much. Flicks like Kids aren't entertaining. They do make you think, but you end up depressed, grossed the fuck out & not wanting to have kids

I never saw this movie. Is it a documentary or a fictional film?

I know I'm all late and whatnot but I saw Kids when it first came out and also found it very disturbing. It haunted me for years. I've only seen it that one time and don't care to ever again.
As for House of Sand and Fog could it have gotten any worse? Great performances but this movie made me rethink what I watch for entertainment. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

surprized no one mentioned "thirteen".
yet another disturbing view of fucked up girls. "Virgin" is another but not as disturbing

I saw Kids when I was about 12, when it was aired on Showcase. Not even being a teen yet, I knew this movie was fairly realistic -I already knew of people through school who were behaving like the kids in the movie. People who are shocked by this movie are too insulated from the real world, I'd say. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

you have a young Rosario Dawson who is 17 and very promiscious.... young boys running around trying to sleep with as many stupid young girls as possible.... there was a lot of under age drug using, they didn't take showers, and one found out that she was HIV positive from having unprotected sex one time.... This movie makes me very afraid to have kids, fearing that they will lose control. I am very happy that I wasn't like that when I was a teenager..... I'm embarrassed to say this is the life I was leading when I was fifteen. I was so lost back then. Watching this again would be very hard for me because it really brings me back to that era.

I lived like this also, only about 3 or 4 years ago. I only saw the movie relitavely recently, and it did make me think what a prick i was back then. I was doped up, or on speed, or drinking exsessiverly-all at the same time. Party 24/7. I fucked up my exams. Just when i was approaching 18, i quit this lifestyle, dropped my dope loving friends and literally started making a whole new bunch of friends. When i was 16, i was fooling around with 14 year olds. I was sad, and the girls who agreed to this and my manipulative ways, are sad too. [Edited 11/24/05 16:19pm]

I saw this movie the other day, it rocks.
The best bit is.."I have no legs. I have no legs." LOL. Kinda weird to think that this shit goes on though, when I was 16 I was getting it on with older women, like 24-25 year olds, not 12-13 year olds for fucks sake. |

And girls at parties we were always going to were always up for a laugh. It was not intentional to fuck these naive girls, just an easy lay. I was a prick back then, and the irony is that now my thread about this 13 year old girl i know has reminded me of these dark times in my life. But i say reminded as i by no means am the same now as i was then. I have matured, but i guess infatuation is another thing altogether.
