Good Lord! What makes someone act that way is beyond me. This sort of thing happened to me twice!

The first time was our school field trip to DC. We were alloud to have dinner by ourselves within this shopping area. My friend and I were sitting in the middle of the food court and were talking, when I got slammed from behind. I then woke up on the ground. Witnesses said 4-5 guys came up from behind and one of them cold cocked me in the head with something in his hand. The police later found them drunk and pissing on the front door of Macy's a couple of hours later. These were men in their early 20s. I was 15!

The second time I was dating a girl of darker skin. Her father did not like that. Aparently he asked her cousin and his friends to beat the hell out of me one day as I was walking to the community center. That one still haunts me. That same cousin later shot himself in the head a few years after. I heard his own father beat him constantly.

The bruises heal, but that "WTF? did I do to you?" lingers on. I myself wanted to hurt that kid in ways that just wasn't in me before. Violence just breeds violence I guess.

I'm so sorry to hear that about your son and his girlfriend. I hope at least this may make their relationship stronger in some way.

Y is it that there are people out there who want to ruin everyone else who has fun in their lives? jealous - frustration, who cares, it's unjustified.

A not too dissimilar incident happened 2 me in a nightclub not too long ago, I was with a girl and we were dancing and someone tried to touch her and then hurled a drink and abuse at her when she told them to f*ck off...

When the drink was hurled, I flipped and realised I had 2 deal with about 6 of them, even though I knew the bouncers, I flipped and started throwing things at them as I was so angry about what transpired, and why? just because we were dancing, having fun and they couldn't take it?!

I'm really pissed.. Katt I feel 4 U dear, I really do.

Katt it's absolutely disgusting what happened and hopefully the assholes who did this will be caught. Its a mark of your son's character though that he defended his girlfriend like that sounds like you've brought him up to be a good man

I've been held up at gun point by some 15 yr old kids and I do believe a lot of those random acts are an initiation. But Jesus! A female? I'm so sorry and be thankful they are alive.

I hate life. For reasons like this. Where i live, people live in fear. It is horrible. A few days back some young guys throw a piece of wood at me. it missed the back of my head by inches. i chased them and caught one. i told him that i wasnt going to hurt him i just wanted to know why he did it. he ran off. moments later his father comes out to me demanding i appologise to his kid. I said there is no chance in hell, he said "u gotta fight me then" ! what? i said i dont have to fight anybody and walked away

I'm so sorry to hear that. Stuff like that really pisses me off.
My 14 year old nephew was attacked by 2 punks last year. I didn't know about ti until months later, though. I was LIVID! My mother did not tell me because she knew I would have raised HOLY HELL like no other. I detest punks and cowards. I hope your son and his girlfriend are feeling better.
