Oh my, I have the Superman boxed set, and I never watch III or IV. The other day, my boy wanted to watch IV (he's three), so I let him. MAN, it was even WORSE than I remembered!

Superman vs. Sigfreid! I kept expecting Roy to show up with a bunch of white tigers to battle Supes with!

when I was little,I caught only the end when the spirit rabbit took him away, and it was still deeply emotional. Something about the way that ghostly/angelic rabbit was animated in such a stylized way was perfect.

Incredible movie.

Especially the end when the holocaust rabbit survivors could be seen amongst the new generation. My Uncle told me that it was about the Jewish persecutions in Germany during WWII. Is there any truth to that? I've always seen the rabbits in that light.

thumbs up!

Fantastic flick! You aren't the only one who has heard the holocaust interp, and I certainly think that is what the author intended.

That scene was just sooooo wrong. Didn't anyone think that the woman couldn't BREATHE in space and on the moon? And maybe she'd freeze before she ever got out of the atmosphere of Earth? That's what really killed that movie for me because that's the first thing I had seen from it. disbelief

Oh God, dude.

Think about superman 2, arugably the best of the movies (though the first one was more charming). One of the 3 villans walks up to a guy on the moon and carries on a conversation with him. Even at 7 years old, I knew this couldn't happen. confused

Dirty Dancing disbelief

It was the bit near the end when Baby was telling her dad to be proud of her. That sort of stuff gets me every time.

Also, the last half of Imitation Of Life.

And Savage Sam, the sequel. Have you seen it?

Oh my God, one of my teachers read the two books to my class, when I was a kid. I don't know what the other classrooms thought we were up to - some ritual?? - but we all ended up wailing and shrieking by the end of it. cry

There again, I cried on the last day of primary school. Me in the corner with 15 girls. rolleyes

Oh no, you aren't the only Benji fan!!!! I LOVED Benji, and cried my little eyes out when he was lost in Paris.

Dumbo
Where The Red Fern Grows
Poltergeist made me cry because it scared the crap out of me.
King Kong actually made me cry too.
