Incredible movie. Especially the end when the holocaust rabbit survivors could be seen amongst the new generation. My Uncle told me that it was about the Jewish persecutions in Germany during WWII. Is there any truth to that? I've always seen the rabbits in that light.

I didn't cry at movies when I was a kid. Now as an adult, I don't care that I've seen the movies 5,000 times I ALWAYS cry at the end of "The Color Purple" and "Steel Magnolias". Now I can add "Sense and Sensibility" to that list although I haven't seen it 5,000 times. I'm firmly planted in denial

Made me cry as a kid and still do:
Watership Down Hook A Little Princess Dumbo The Secret of N.I.M.H. Charlotte's Web The Land Before Time -but only the first one, not the multitudes of shit sequels. No matter how many times I watch these movies I can't get through them without bursting into tears. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

You aren't the only one who has heard the holocaust interp, and I certainly think that is what the author intended. my nephew cried when the Beast "died" in Beauty and the Beast, you know the part when he turned back into the Prince. We couldn't figure out why he was so inconsolable until we realized that he thought every beast was We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Those 3 movies are at the top of my list. I own them all and watch them millions of times. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sense and Sensibility. That movie had me crying lying a fool. It was just soo great at the end. Everything was resolved. I fell in love more with Alan Rickman's character than Hugh Grant's. I could totally relate to Alan's character so much. And, as a gay man, I have Steel Magnolias memorized, or they'll take my membership card away. And, as a black woman living in a gay mexican man's body, I love, and have Oprah's parts in the Color Purple memorized.
