give me your opinion on this one, here goes...

so, you get a pair of earrings in a cute lil holiday bag, all decorated for the holidays.... attached to it comes a note saying a bunch of lovely, mushy stuff and a THANK YOU for all the hard work your wife/girlfriend has put into the holiday season... it comes with chocolates inside as well.

the idea is to put it on her pillow the night of Christmas, thats after the whole day is over, all the food, all the clean-up, all the gifts have been opened.....

she gets to go to bed, and theres a nice gift there waiting as a thank you from the family...

isnt that the sweetest ???

it's just sad imo that the marketing powers are able to get their two cents in during the holidays like this. that they're able to make men feel like they have to drop their hard earned cash on jewelry to express their gratitude.

i mean, diamonds aren't a girl's best friend. diamonds are only cold, shiny bits of rock. hugs 'n' kisses are what really count
