give me your opinion on this one, here goes...

so, you get a pair of earrings in a cute lil holiday bag, all decorated for the holidays.... attached to it comes a note saying a bunch of lovely, mushy stuff and a THANK YOU for all the hard work your wife/girlfriend has put into the holiday season... it comes with chocolates inside as well.

the idea is to put it on her pillow the night of Christmas, thats after the whole day is over, all the food, all the clean-up, all the gifts have been opened.....

she gets to go to bed, and theres a nice gift there waiting as a thank you from the family...

isnt that the sweetest ???


what do you think about that idea ?

It's a great idea ...everyone wants to know they're appreciated and that what they give of themselves is valued and not taken for granted. It's a beautiful way of conveying just that...

I would be excited about doing something like that...

I would move the time table up a couple of days as a pre-christmas gift. It has alot of meaning, that might get lost within the hussel and bussel of the days events.

I would also remove the mushy stuff and replace it will heartfelt words with deeper meaning and understand.

What if her clean-up, cooking, etc turns out to be sub-par? Can the gift be returned if you keep the receipt?

give them a choice of a couple of things they have to copy in their own handwriting as if they wrote it! I know I would be super impressed thinking he thought that up himself
