this doll, everytime you pull her hair, "ouch that hurts". I still have her...I thought she was sooo real, I didn't like other kids touching her and I still played with her until a later age. boxed

yeah, in retrospect it was a cheesy toy, but at the time i loved it. that was the biggest star wars toy my mom would ever get me. i never got a death star or a millenium falcon or anything REALLY impressive. i got a dagobah playset...but i really wanted one. lol

my best friend when i was a kid came from a rich family, so i'd stay at his place on weekends and he'd have all the cool big star wars toys and we'd play in his PLAYROOM (?!?) all weekend - he had the death star, millenium falcon, droid factory...but the AT-AT was even too rich for HIS family's blood.

That sounds like my house complete with playroom! My little brother had the Death Star, I had the Falcon, but we didn't have the Droid Factory. We had a bunch of other ships, though. My mom refused to pay $50 for a toy back then, so no AT-AT for us. confused

my sister and me too. My sister desperately wanted a Michael Jackson doll, so for christmas she got one, and I was given a boy george doll!!! nuts I was so mad, I cried. To try to make more of a man out of him, I cut his hair and tried to wipe his make-up off with nail polish remover - but it wiped off ALL his features and from that day on he had to be the ghost of george falloff
(we had 15 barbies and only one Ken - MJ and ghost of george did not count as males biggrin )
another barbie we had was sprayed black with automotive paint which did not dry and melded her hair into this clump, she got called swamp woman and we chucked her over the fence into the neighbours yard.

Wow! When I was eight years old I had a toy you had to put together that would trigger actions and reactions of a mechanical nature. Like the first step would be to roll a metal ball and it would hit another gadget that would trigger movements that used mini trampolines, slides, and a wide range of masterful components to come up with an ingenious end to your invention. Similar to the chain of event contraptions Wile E. Coyote would come up with to catch the RoadRunnerm and in the same idea as the game MOUSETRAP, but far more techy and innovative.

Damn if I could remember the name of that toy!!!

Challenged your creativity, trial and error, and ingenuity skills!!
