Help me pick a dog!

I'm thinking of getting a dog...have always had German Shepherds mushy ..but I don't have the room now so need to get a little one...and I don't want one that yaps constantly ....any ideas? .....oooh and make it cute mr.green

okay, so here's our mini-dauschand Sally Rose...

this was from a cowboy themed party at one of my roommates' bar. if you look closely you can see me totally not amused at being forced to wear a cowboy hat and to walk in hay in the middle of new york.

Two of my favorite breeds:

Jack Russell Terrior (they dig though, and can hop fences, and are hyper)




Black Lab Retriever (they never grow up - they always act like pups)

Maybe you could try that quiz to give you some ideas? Off the top of my head, I know Basenji hounds don't bark much, and are fairly small.
