Jack Russell Terrior (they dig though, and can hop fences, and are hyper) Black Lab Retriever (they never grow up - they always act like pups) Do NOT get a terrier if you don't want a barking, hyper dog...

labradoodle you can get a smaller one, they are a new cross between labs and poodles they are using them as service dogs for people with severe allergies Labradoodle Characteristics These lab/poodle hybrids have been described as: easy to train, smart, sociable, good with children, get along well with other dogs, loyal, and happy. They have wavy hair in varying colors, including: black, chalk, cream, apricot, chocolate, and silver. Labradoodles have large friendly eyes, but they don’t have the “prissy” look that some people dislike about poodles. We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

Mine is an english cocker (spaniel), named Toggy-Dog, very naughty. Stubborn but so funny. Hard days as a puppy (needs lots of love).
Mine made myself his goddess, even when I know eating is his most interest. Very sweet with kids and homelesses.
