Two of my favorite breeds:

Jack Russell Terrior (they dig though, and can hop fences, and are hyper)

Black Lab Retriever (they never grow up - they always act like pups)

Do NOT get a terrier if you don't want a barking, hyper dog... shake

Maybe you could try that quiz to give you some ideas? Off the top of my head, I know Basenji hounds don't bark much, and are fairly small.

Thanks hun mr.green

she's adorable beyond reason and SO LOVING

No yapping? (or should I say no constant yapping? lol)

she only barks if you are tormenting her. (hiding the ball or fake throwing it during fetch.)

labradoodle

you can get a smaller one, they are a new cross between labs and poodles

they are using them as service dogs for people with severe allergies

thumbs up!

Labradoodle Characteristics

These lab/poodle hybrids have been described as: easy to train, smart, sociable, good with children, get along well with other dogs, loyal, and happy. They have wavy hair in varying colors, including: black, chalk, cream, apricot, chocolate, and silver. Labradoodles have large friendly eyes, but they don’t have the “prissy” look that some people dislike about poodles.

We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.

Mine is an english cocker (spaniel), named Toggy-Dog, very naughty. Stubborn but so funny. Hard days as a puppy (needs lots of love).

Mine made myself his goddess, even when I know eating is his most interest. Very sweet with kids and homelesses.
