i am not a perfect person so i have moments of forgetting and taking for granted ... but being aware of that helps me to reconnect to striving to stay IN the moment and connected to thankfulness

I try my best to always be gracious and polite. I'm sure I'm not as much as I could be, but I do try to make an effort.

I find myself taking things for granted. When I'm spiralling in negativity, I stop and check myself because I have so many things that I am grateful for.

I try to be truly grateful every day for all the blessings in my life. Sometimes it's easy to feel sorry for yourself or to focus on what your "don't have" instead of being grateful for all that you do have in this moment...

Life is too short to take any of it for granted...

"Oh, Earth, you're too wonderful for anybody to realize you. Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it? - every every minute?"

"No... The saints and poets, maybe - they do some."

Case

I'm thankful when appropriate, but I've noticed I tend to take girlfriends for granted. I'm trying to break this.
