In YOUR OPINION DO YOU NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT?

They say AMERICANS are FATTER than EUROPEAN and ASIANS. Think this is TRUE? Studies are saying that CHILDREN and TEENAGERS are SO OVERWEIGHT because of FAST FOOD like MCDONALDS and BURGER KING. Plus CHOLESTEROL is so HIGH from all the OIL and FAT and GREASE. So now, do you think this is TRUE of AMERICANS over DIFFERENT CULTURES?

even though i rarely if ever eat fast food (though i'm weak to mickey d's french fries just like everyone else, i'll admit it!), i find it's really hard to keep my weight where i want it. i think it's my metabolism as much as my diet, though. i definitely am what i eat. i gain and drop weight very quickly.

i could lose 20-30 pounds. as soon as i get my own place and settled in the city, i am gonna find a gym near it.

the great thing is it falls off me quickly

I don't. I seem to stay at this weight no matter what (excepting pregnancy and such). Since I was 18.

I gained more than I thought when I quit smoking, but I have always been underweight, so while people say I look healthy, it still is difficult for me to get used to having 30 pounds more. I just want to turn it into muscle now. I don't want it turning to flab, or to get too unhealthy...

Yes I do. I was doing so well too. My goal is to get back to being 180 pounds.

Wish me luck.

i want to lose weight...mainly coz i wanna look good in clothes, like hot pants, bikini. the good thing about my body is that the fat is properly distributed, so that in proportions i'm good, except the hands... but i know i could be better if lost some weight, i've never had this much fat before...so i'm thinking if a lose a few..then i'd go out dancing mor often. i want that lean flat tummmy tucked look back...

yea, i also gained since i quit smoking

Can I just say CONGRATS to everyone on this thread who quit smoking??!!! woot! clapping touched biggrin

I could stand to lose 5-10 lbs. I look slimmer than I really am b/c my legs are skinny - fucking apple shape mad I'd give anything to be a pear!! pout

I'm eating better than I ever have in my life, working out consistently for about 5 months now. I'm noticing some change, feel stronger, still wanna tighten some stuff up though.

It's an epidemic in America & it's spreading around the world thanks to McDonalds & other shitty restaurants going global. Our kids literally don't know how to eat. I blame the parents. It's like every meal is supposed to be the "best", greasiest, cheesiest meal. No concept of fast food being bad for you. People just eat it & keep going. No thinking involved. It's weird... I know b/c I used to eat fast food w/o thinking myself confused eek
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

Not sure if you're being funny or what smile I'm talking about those who eat it to excess, several times a week... the only fit people you'll see in there are either young, eating it sparingly, or have such a high metabolism that they're just lucky.

I should be eating McDonalds as it'd give me the necessary fuel to work out, but it gets very boring, not to mention a little disgusting, eating it too often.
