His wife has come forward and said that preliminary autpsy reports say he had an enlarged heart.Which is a sign of steroid abuse. Autopsy reports of other dead wrestlers have said the same thing. For all of the people here who do not follow wrestling you would be shocked if I listed the amount of wrestlers who have died from od's or "heart attacks" over the years. It would shock and sicken you. Wrestling is a sick business. No other sport comes close to a death rate like wrestling does.

In the last 10 years we've lost British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith (39) , Mr Perfect Curt Hennig (44), Ravishing Rick Rude (41), Owen Hart (34), Brian Pillman (35), Big Boss Man Ray Traylor (42), Miss Elizabeth (42), Yokozuna (34) and Crash Holly (32) - all before reaching their 45th birthdays.

sad

Junkyard Dog too
sad Yokozuna was a favorie of mine. Remember the Bonsai drop. "Bonsaaaaiii!" Not trying to be funny when talking about Rick Rude, but when WCW came to my city a long time ago, Rick Rude was going against Sting(man I used to love Sting too, before he turned into the "Crow" Sting). Anyway during the match Sting chased Rick up the turn buckle and tried to pull him down but instead accidently pulled down Rick's pants baring his naked ass. giggle I think I was about 7 or 8 when this was, so you can imagine how much I laughed after that. I really miss those live wrestling events sad and I hate the fact that I just don't have it in me anymore to be a wrestling fanatic.

Rapid muscle-gain? Have you been watching wrestling the last 4 years? Eddie's muscle-gain has not changed that dramatically. If Eddie was under the influence of ANYTHING.. it would have been a few pain killers. While not good given his history, they're very understandable with his career and his workload.

Smackdown and RAW left today for a tour overseas. I don't see how Chris Benoit is going to keep it together.

I'm very much into wrestling, not just WWE wrestling, but other promotions and federations to. This loss shook the whole professional wrestling world and all it's fans.

No doubt. Chris Benoit and Eddie go back years. THe tribute show was nice. Nice touch at the end by John Cenile (yep, I spelt it right) where he took off his Eddie Guerrero shirt laid it down and placed his WWE belt on the shirt.
Alas I didn't see the entire show, did they do the 10-count bell salute?

'dre

Yeah, they did the 10-count bell. It was very sad. He will be missed.

Owen Hart (34)

sad

Owen heart died in a stunt that backfired drastically - not drugs like his brother-in-laws sake.

nah that's Kurt Angle who's the cry-baby champion. Davey Boy Smith (a.k.a British Bulldog) was Owens Brother-In-Law.

Man 100ft fall... did the Hart family get compensation? I hear they filed for a $1.7M (circa) lawsuit on WWE re. the incident

I know the show must go on, but knowing that a top wrestler just died in the ring of a major event would give me the creeps. If I was another wrestler it's no way I could've continued on after that.....it's probably the most tragic death in wrestling history.

Animal and Hawk were one the best duos.

I like when wrestlers had character back then.....I just don't see that now.

We used to be too cheap to actually buy the ppvs, so my dad's friend used to always get them and tape them for us for free. smile I doubt wrestling will ever be what was back then.
