What's there to say? The shit is wrong. Be who you are - don't deceive the person just to break them later on. And for the love of God, PLEASE don't drag any kids into it. It's just confusing for everyone. One person's "secret" shouldn't rip apart multiple lives. I know coming out must be harder than I can imagine, but to knowingly go into a hetero marriage thinking you can beat it! is just asking for a mountain of shit down the line. Stay single, endure the "why aren't you married yet???" questions like the rest of us  It's one thing to refuse to come out, it's a whole 'nother to drag a wife/family into your shit. NOT COOL...

Yes. There are gays and bi's out there on the "down low". They exist, they're not a myth. But the problem has been blown up out of proportion. Everything from the spread of disease to selfishness has been pinned on us bi folks by straight and gay people and it's bullshit. Even those amongst you that can admit it's bullshit don't bother to change your attitudes. Why? Laziness I guess. 
Most of the people I associate with are gay or bisexual. I bat for both teams, myself. I've only ever had personal experience with one individual on the dl. I don't know why he bothers anymore, honestly. Damn near everyone knows he likes men just about as much as he does women -everyone but his fiancee, apparently. Boy is she in for a shock. Men and women have been on the downlow as long as people have felt the need to hide their sexuality. Somebody's just applied a trendy "urban" name to it now. If you're practicing unsafe sex without your partner's knowledge or consent - be it with a man or woman - you are endangering their health as well as your own. The down low trend (if you want to even call it a trend) is just a more salacious way of dramatizing somebody's sexcapades. | |
