Here's something that happened to me.
Today I had to go out to pick up some non-Christmas items at Wal-mart. The store was really crowded, the parking lot was "unbelievable." Well, when I finished buying the necessaties, got back to my car and loaded my items, I totally forget and left my purse in the shopping cart. I drove off.
I left the store and stopped at other places totally oblivious to the fact that I did not have my purse. (I had put most of my cash into my jeans pocket).
After about 2 hrs., I discovered, "oh my God, "my purse was missing.
Immediately I went back to Wal-mart & went to their lost & found. Someone had actually turned my purse in. All my credit cards, I.D. and additional cash was still intact. Cool or what? (I gave the lost & found lady a big )
What's the neatest thing that's ever happend to you during this time of year?

One year, when I was 9 years old, I went outside on Christmas Eve. I remember that I left the house as my mother was making ornaments in the oven and Captain and Tenille were doing their Christmas show (they had an afternoon show). It was flurrying and we had a wooded area in the back of my house.

I thought it was cool that it was snowing on Christmas Eve, so I went outside, past the barbed wire between the yard and the woods, and climbed to the top of the ridge. And sat there, staring at my house, and spying my family inside, until I got scared. It was truly a spiritual experience, that taught me that solitude can be worshipful.

Years later, I began repeating the experience with a walk on Christmas Eve morning. And I'll do it again.
