Name our species

What do you think would be a better name for our species?

It seems inaccurate to refer to ourselves as homo sapiens when so few of us are wise or intelligent. We tend to overlook our most remarkable trait which is our ability to sense and feel as emotional beings with memory in consciousness. We are united in awareness and sociability when we are psychologically moved and touched, connected as homo humanus sensitivus in our collective imagination, common curiosity and empathic condition of love.

Although relative truths provide efficient descriptions of our subjective observations, absolute truth eludes us. Essentially, we learn a few tricks, some recitations, codes and calculations while embracing ages of insights, arduous labor, fine arts and sciences, etc. We continue to dabble, experiment, create, share and explore, yet so few of us ever have an original thought.
