So was he born with a cleft palate or what? It's cool that in Hollywood he can work even with that huge facial scar, but it would be so much harder for a woman with the same thing.

This picture is very touched up and doesn't show off the scar very well, but you still see it. It looks like the left side of his top lip (on our right) is higher than the the other side. It also looks as though his top lip has been reconstructed. This is typical of cleft lip/palate reconstructive surgery. Joaquin should just admit it. Ain't no shame. It would give hope to all lil' "formerly cleft lipped" kiddies lookin' to make it in Hollywood!
