Why do alot of women have only the top
of their eye liner blackened ? Seems to be a new thing.

I cannot wear the stuff. I'm allergic to make up anyways. I can only wear Sheseido lipstick and no other make up.

i still do underneath my eyes...just for that extra effect...i don't go all 80s but i still do my thing

I've also been doing it for years. I've been wearing eyeliner almost everyday for 10 years now. (I had to count on my fingers for that shit!) I don't do lipstick or blush or foundation; just coverup, eyeliner, eye shadow (sometimes), mascara.

I only line the top lid when I'm tired or in a rush but don't want to look the part. I love Mac's Fluidline, by the way. It's fucking amazing.

Black eyeliner (liquid) only on my top lid for at least 14 years now. Consistently.
Although, in one way it makes me sad cause if out of the blue I decide not to put any on people think I look very tired.

But eyeliner is the only make up I wear every single day. Some days I throw foundation on, some days I use various lipsticks, on occasion I'll wear eyeshadow and mascara.

Ditto for me as well.

um? I didn't think this was new ive worn make up like that for over 10 years now... maybe not everyday but I have and do. ok...

I never wear eyeliner ,just mascara and lipgloss that's it.

I wish I could apply liner to the top lid. I can't do it without nearly causing irreversible eye damage because of my uncontrollable urge to squint, blink, or wrinkle up my whole face. Then again, I also can't do eye drops. I'm such a weinie. I wish I could do the top lid liner, though. I think it's pretty nifty.

I wear it smudgy on the top & bottom, but VERY lightly on the bottom. Top is shadowed out. Shit ain't new

This is not new.

The older a woman gets, the more she should only line the top lid.

So they say, anyway.

I only put eyeliner on the top lid
It looks really nice and what's more important: I'm not good at putting it underneath my eye.
