Does Anybody Know If It Is Bad Or Am I Lacking Something By Craving SUGAR? Is it a Vitamin? For some Reason, IMust have Sweets Everyday. Is this Cause I am Lacking a Certain Vitamin? Not eating Meat? | |

Well, Nat....ya know if ya eat Alot of Meat ya get sick. But I find if I eat some meat then I don;t eat as much Sweets. I am Not Sure why I am eating Donuts and Pies and Candy. I Know Something is Off is Right. I Never was Such a SUGAR Head. I can ask my Dr. | |

it's not to do with the meat hon... it's to do with your body craving sugar definately go see your doctor and find out for sure what's going on | |

Well, the dr did say take iron pills . I will buy some tommorrow. I always had low Blood sugar and would feel tired after a meal. You are Funny Calhoun. The Doctor Always says I'm fine but I Crave Sugar products. I feel Guilty eating so many Cakes and I bought a Dozen Krispy Creams today. I am eating Cakse and Pies and Bread and not Much Else. Seems like after this Hurricane I just want Sugar MORE than Ever. [Edited 11/9/05 2:46am] | |

If you can manage to cut out refined sugars for a time you'll find yourself craving them less, in the meantime satisfy the craving for sweet things with ripe pears, sultana grapes, dried fruit etc. Your low blood sugar can be helped by eating more complex carbohydrates at meals ie. wholegrain breads, wholemeal pastas. A sugar fix to perk yourself up only exacerbates the problem, you feel OK for a while then you plummet again to another low as your body goes into overdrive to produce insulin to combat all the sugar.

so evil...lol I'm a sugar addict myself. I tend to have VERY low blood sugar and because I used to use high carbs to maintain my glucose levels, I sorta became addicted to carbs. Get a glucose test done to determine if you have issues either with high or low glucose levels. Or you just need to remove refined sugars from your diet. it sucks....i feel your pain or you just need some sperm like Calhoun said....try that too.... | |
