i must admit - i miss my howard stern in the morning ... many a day i would drive my 30 min drive to work and be laughing my ass off .... actually crying about something ... whether it be the Arnold Schwarzeneggar interviews , julia roberts interviews , or the "restless restless" competition ....

confused - but i am still not sure i would pay for Howard ...

the morning talk show i listen now is relatively for OLD FOLKS ... boring .. mundane ... and almost like listening to a ANTI HOWARD STERN show ... lol

Yeah, I think there's no room for any gray area there. You either love him or hate him.

I can only imagine what happened off-air after Monday's show when Tom notified Howard that he was suspended and then made the announcement on the air. Fireworks!

Does anybody else think that Howard might be in on this?

I mean, how many people is this going to piss off just enough that they sign up for Sirius to get the "real show"?

Just a thought.

mrman...don't think of it as paying just for howard cause it really is so much more than that. The music channels are off the hook and they have sports, entertainment and news too!

I don't like how he exploits disabled people, or the questions he asks these crack smokin' sluts who visit his show. He's part of the all too popular common denominator. Plus, he's ugly as fuck, and reminds me of this Spats dude on the site. Ugly ass trying to get into "hot" women's pants. PA-thetic.

good point about the disabled people...that is the one thing I'm bothered by on that show...although I do hear they are looked after quite well and it is a payed job for them, and their parents are all involved but...still...I hear ya on that one.
I think his questions are funny though...can't agree there. smile
he is ugly but...I try not to like or dislike people based on there looks. wink

hes soluting them

they are getting a well needed ego boost

Hey, one-track mind, shaddup.

I don't like Howard Stern's view of "hot" women and the way he objectifies them by asking questions about their pussy lips and such. It's fucking disgusting. And when you're a leering, ugly ass fiftyish troll of a man asking these questions to a vapid idiot who's half your age, it's just damn creepy.

i agree with alot of the POSITIVE things that have been said about Howard Stern .... but to be slighly negative i will say this :

-for me - Howard did get "too big" for free radio ... defining that as : he costs too much i guess - the ads would run for like 15 minutes !!!! .... and my drive to work sometimes is 30-45 minutes --- hell , sometimes i would hear like 5 minutes of his show it seemed ! eek

-after his divorce- i didnt find him as funny .... Here is this guy who got "more famous" for his funny take on marriage, and his devotion to his wife allison .... NOW he is divorced and hanging out with all those HOT BABEs he used to NOT be able to hang out with ... confused

I dunno about that last part. He's been so devoted to his girlfriend the last few years (she lives with him now), it's like he's married all over again.

Yes - he's admitted that he is happier being in a monogamous relationship - I think he's been with Beth for around 5 years already.

I am going with Howard to satellite... We're getting Adam Carolla here in LA, who I'd probably enjoy and will listen to when there's no Howard, but I do enjoy my Howard in the mornings and I am willing to pay for it. It's also the principle of free speech that's at stake and not allowing the government dictate to me what I can choose to listen to and to what a small select group deems "decent."

I do feel sorry for the east coast listeners, though - no offense, but David Lee Roth in the mornings? disbelief

I plan on not listening to the radio anymore when Howard leaves rather than listen to Diamond Dave. His morning show is the only time I do turn on the radio now as it is. Maybe I'll just watch the morning news on NY1. God, that sounds so boring.

Sometimes this show makes me laugh so hard I'm almost in tears. Sirius satellite coverage willing, I'll be going with Howard when he makes the move. I am surprised, though, that he has gotten away with talking about his new gig at all on Infinity. Being a businessman, no employee of mine is going to be promoting one of my competitors while on my payroll.

ugh! I know! I'm on the east coast and thank god I have Sirius already cause I ain't listen to no David Lee Roth! forget it! Adam Carolla would be worse for me though...when he has sat in on Howard's show in the past I can almost not even listen...I dunno...maybe it's just me but his whiney voice is like nails on a chalk board! headache
