Where is your next Vacation?

I have a feeling mine will be in Turkey.

Good question! lol
I have a million travel plans up in the air right now, and I haven't been able to decide or commit to any of them. I may have a weekend in LA in a month, I may be going to either the UK, Australia or Mexico in the Spring, I've been kicking around the idea of Seattle for New Years, and I'd like to get a long weekend in Chicago in here somewhere soon.

I don't know what to do.

Beautiful North Wales for two weeks at Xmas.
Italy for easter
Finland and Arizona in the summer

All family visits though, not really what you would call holidays, but still.

I want to squeeze in a little weekender to Iceland too.

I'm pretty sure I'll have to be in Dallas, Texas, in January for a conference, and my wife and I usually like to turn work trips into getaways. (Even though I'd trade Texas for Cuba in a heartbeat if I were president. lol) I'd love to get down to Mexico then, but not sure we'll have the time.

Then, this summer, my wife may have to be in Barcelona for another conference, in which case we'd like to extend the trip into a full-blown European tour. I've wanted to see Italy, Istanbul and Prague for years; and she wants to return to England and France.

Man that sounds so exciting. Ive always wanted to visit Istanbul. The architecture there is jaw dropping and its such a historic world city.

My next "vacation" will be to Chicago. Its partly business but Im certainly going to have a good time.

I really hope to go to Greece within the year. My friend lives in Glyfda (sp?). She moved there from Boston a year ago and absolutely loves it. Her father owns a lot of property out there. She's pretty much a spoiled bitch, but also a funny one! lol

Ditto. It's a combination business/vacation trip. First I'm attending a Continuing Legal Education course to keep my Indiana law license active, and then I'm seeing the family for Thanksgiving. I have to fly back on Friday in order to get a cheap ticket, though. sad

whenever i'm in indiana, it's never for pleasure or for a social call, i'm afraid. i only go there to visit my mom, and when i visit she never wants to go anywhere. if she were well enough, i'd force her to come to chicago for holidays, but she can't really keep up in big cities anymore. sad

The bf and I were supposed to travel to Nashville last month, but we decided to save money for home projects to be done in time for my mom's arrival for Thanksgiving. Hopefully, we can make that trip another time soon.
