I LOVED that movie when it came out.

I haven't seen it in years, either. A great cast in that film!

based on a play, shot in Austin, Texas... got really intense when you thought that one girl was dead.

One of Richard Linklater's unjustly overlooked gems. A GREAT film!

who was parker posey?

She wern't the orange girl who did that hilairious "art piece" and started dancing and saying "fuck michael bolton..." etc.....if she was, that bit was the funniest part of the movie.

Nope. She was the guy in the band's manager. The one they thought was dead.

I think this film is much more: Eric Bogosian (wrote the play)
Eric Bogosian (wrote the screenplay)

than Linklater.....

oh her. Wow, she is quite fine then, in that naive way (which is the way she was meant to be portrayed...rich and naive)

She seemed alright.

I did the play a while back, and didn't care for it, We watched the movie sometime during the run, I didn't care for it, either, but it might be because I already didn't like the play, and the two are almost exactly the same.

In both cases, the best part of the show was Sooze, followed closely by Erica.

On a side, and more depressing note, the girl that played Erica when we did the show, who was an awesome person, as well as actress, died recently.
