When the charm of the sea wears off

I guess I'm fortuned to live by the sea. As there is a proper sandy beach about 80 metres away from my outdoor, I've done a great deal of gawking at the horizon over the two years I've lived there. I used to do it for hours, enjoy the beauty of it at summer time or feel melancholic in the autumn. It's been amazing, so different at different seasons. You wouldn't believe what it looks like during full-moon when the surface reflects the moon's scarce light. It's totally a postcard scenario.

Yet, it sort of wears off after a time. There is nothing to dream of anymore. And not even bad memories I'd like to reflect on either, can't be bothered. It's just windy, cold now and I'd rather stay inside. Bummer. All romance is dead.

The sea charges my batteries, brings out my creativity, gives me peace of mind. I would never get tired of living next to it.

The sea scares the hell out of me. Too many Jaws movies.

I've got a view of a huge sea of bricks outside my window.
Lotsa meloncholy
no dreams.
