Do you ever shop at Savers?

They are having a half price day tomorrow at my local one, I think I might go and get my whole family kitted out in a new(ish) summer wardrobe for less than $30 eyepop

how could that be?!!! I heard a lady at kindy complaining her son's new uniform (each item he needed for next year) came to AUS$1000 - that's insane! eyepop

www.savers.com
they are only in a few states, and we have them here too, like a supermarket sized thrift store. I refuse to buy my boys new stuff, so it is Savers all the way for them until they earn their own money or stop making holes in their pants first time they wear them (unlikely rolleyes )

I just spoke to my dad and my sister - we will be making a family outing tomorrow falloff united in thriftiness biggrin

I cannot believe the things people part with!! My kids are always dressed in high quality designer stuff, which I get for $3 or $4 a piece. Why do some people (who are in actual financial hardship) not shop there? Or is it a pride thing? hmmm I am dressed from top to toe in 2nd hand stuff and it looks new... why why why pay retail? disbelief
