NFL stadium has unsafe food

a local news station has investigated the booths where they sell food and have found them unsanitary and unsafe, and the people working there have no supervision, I dont buy that over priced food anyway, just a warning for those who do

Last weekend I went to a rave at Qwest Field (home of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks), and the concession stands were keeping the caps from the bottles of water they were selling, supposedly because caps can be thrown at people. The result? Multiple people needing first aid for slip-and-fall injuries. disbelief

And what about the fucking BOTTLES??? I'd rather be hit by a stupid cap than the bottle it came from! Boy, those Quest Field concession stand people are really smart. lol

nod Over at nwtekno.org, several people have commented about that.

Apparently the last time the promoter used the venue, the company that has the contract to run the concession stands was distributing water in cups. The promoter told them that would not be acceptable this year and assumed the problem was solved. Well, I guess not.

As I see it, not giving customers the caps is dangerous for a reason other than potentially slippery floors: I'm told that some girl was spiking people's water with LSD. (Very uncool, and certainly violates the "R" in PLUR.) That's a little harder to do without being noticed if someone's got the cap on their water.

Unless this issue gets resolved, I assume that at next year's "Freaknight," people will be dealing bottle caps along with ecstasy pills. ("Hey bro, I've got some Blue Dasanis. Only $15!") lol
