I called for a pizza about an hour ago, and it's STILL not here! I just called the pizza shop now to find out what was going on, and the person I spoke to told me that it would be here within another 5-10 minutes. When I asked him why it was taking so long, and asked him if they were busy, he said that they were a little busy right now. He asked me if I was promised that the pizza would be delivered in 40 minutes, I told him that yes, it was. He then apologized and told me that I really should have been told 45 minutes to an hour.

WTF, I remember back in the day when Pizza Hut would give you a free pizza if they promised it to you within a certain time frame, but it didn't come and you called to complain about it. Guess pizza shops don't do that anymore, but perhaps they should when they inconveniece their customers in this manner. I'm starving hungry right now!

You should contact the store manager and complain. You may get a free pizza in the future.

Pizza Hut used to have that your pizza is free if it takes longer than X minutes if you order and wait at the outlet, here anyway.

I rang up my Dominos recently and wanted a pizza, the guy said "we are not open right now" when will you open then? I asked "don't know" he said. What? "We have just been robbed!"

All Delivery guys take big risks coming to peoples house they dont even know, anything can happen while delivering something. In my town a local pizza shop guy got jumped while deliverling a pizza a couple of years ago. Now they dont deliver anymore.

Domino's ended their "30 minutes or it's free" promise after they were successfully sued by someone who got in a car accident with a Domino's delivery driver.
