The ten year old would absolutely adore the 26-year-old me. The 15-year-old me would be scared to shitless to find out what he'd become in the coming years.
Good thread by the way. | |

At least the cover art is not embarrassing! That cover art is the hotness in my area. Best designer in the city! Pixelpig does the show posters for the acts that come through. (Portfolio link)

But four was the age where I recall thinking on a deep level. I've told this story before, but when i was (well it was juuuust before i turned four- it would have been a few monthz short) I remember coming home from grocery shopping with my dad during the day, and i was in the lounge area and i just stood there, took in se scene of the brown curtainz, the big Phillips stereo system, the (gross) orange/yellow/brown plaid couch, and the off-white walls and thought to myself 'im going to snap shot this picture in my mind and i'm gonna remember it forever!' Which back then didn't seem unusual to me but when i look back on it, it'z a bit weird. But yet it'z not. I already told you we have things in common. Being four meant be able to think on another level. I have very vivid pictures of my grandparent's house. I kept on examining things: how the curtains rolled with the wind, the 'skin' of the pumpkins in the garden, the smell of the couch and what it reminded me of... It's strange that these images/sensations appear to me more vivid than the classrooms where I spent so much time in at the age of 14. That period is rather blurry now, in this aspect at least. I'm curious how many other orgers felt like little Nietzsches or Platoes at four... Yes i know!! But i never realised you experience the same thing with that age, wow. And it's those funny observartional, experimental, analytical kind of thoughtz that kinda followed me through my childhood and beyond. I remember four yearz after dat, i was with a friend and my cousin at a swimming pool and asking my friend 'see that exit sign? Do YOU see it?' she laughed saying 'yeah!' but instead of learning how to swim i was pondering the idea of perception and what is reality and what isnt and whether or not life was real or an illusion beyond our meanz. I never explained to my friend thoroughly why cause i kinda knew it would be a bit strange to explain- and i was strange enough as it was I indeed wonder if anyone else encountered these kinda thoughtz as a kid too. No hablo espanol,no!
Pero hablo ingles..ssii muy muy bien... "Come into my world..." Missy Quote of da Month: "yeah, sure, that's cool...wait WHAT?! "
