Does anyone else like treasure hunts?

Duluth (where I work) is having one in the area where I work to celebrate the completion of a roadwork/revitalization project. It's called "a grand on Grand" (Grand Avenue is the road that was re-done)

There have been 10 clues so far, though I've only gotten 5 of them, and I have a pretty good idea where to look for the hidden brick worth $1,000 to the finder Now if 2 o'clock would just roll around so I can get out of this office!

They are SOOOOO popular here.


They use them for birthdays, engagements and sending missionaries off on their missions.


They are cute, but kinda played out here. Oddly enough, they don't have scavenger hunts on the scale of the one you're in Gretchen.

They do a medallion hunt every year for Esko Fun Day too. My sister's friend Owen has won 2 years in a row ~ $50

Yep, the St. Paul Pioneer Press Winter Carnival medallion hunt is considered the biggest of them all I believe. They even made a movie called "No time for Cold feet" out of it.

It's pretty fun to be out in below zero whether with thousands and thousands of other people looking for a plastic hockey puck.

After doing a little more research I have the general location SO nailed down...I have all time in the world after work to go looking I'm excited...now watch, someone already found it and they just haven't announced it yet
