I'm gonna be a mommy!! 
I'm going tonight to pick up my new kitty!!! Isn't she adorable?? 
She is the son or daughter of a stray. She's 9 weeks old and ready for a new home. And I'm bringing her home tonight at 7pm. I'm SO freaking excited, you guys!!!

Congratulations on your new baby! Yay! Thanks!! Since you can't see, I'll copy the description I got from her 'owner'. She's already had such a good life... Hello Carrie, I just checked my email and am delighted to hear from you. I have four beautiful kittens who need to be adopted. To the best of my knowledge, their birthday was August 22, 2005, making them about 9 weeks old. Mommy cat (Sammy) is a young orange tabby, A stray to me but obviously, someone’s lost pet. She has taken such wonderful care of these kitties. When I discovered that Sammy was living under my deck, I started feeding her and we became fast friends. When old enough, Sammy brought her kitties to show me and this has been one of life’s greatest experiences. They have lived outside but I have cared for all of them and have fed and socialized them and provided toys and blankets and love. They even have a litter box and Sammy has taught them all to use the box. The little black kitty is really what I believe is tortoise, meaning that there are a few orange and off white hairs scattered about, mostly black. There is a off white foot. Last night for example, I brought her in and held her for over an hour. I say her, but I can’t be absolutely certain of the sex due to my own inability to tell for sure. She was very relaxed and comfortable. No squirming. Just wonderful. She smells like a freshly washed sheet that has been hung out to dry outside. I love this kitty and love her unique facial markings. She is fluffy and soft as a piece of satin. She eats well and plays like you would never believe. She makes my heart sing. The only thing better than finding a good home for Miss blackie, would be to find a wonderful home also for one of her siblings so that she would have a playful companion and not be lonely. Either way, Miss Kitty is ready for her new home anytime. She needs to be seen by a Vet for her first check up and whatever they do for New kitties. |

Does she/he have a name? I don't wanna name her till I know if she's a boy or girl. But I think she looks like a girl so I keep calling her 'she'. I'm kicking around the names Penelope and Zany. We will see. |
