I remember our neighbours had that tennis game, it loaded up from a cassette and they could look at it on their telly.

I got that when they re-released it with mario kart double dash disc. I still need to play it

zelda:ocrina of time was the first game that almost made me cry. Sad but true. I had no idea how much depth that game would have on me.

hell yeah, Mario 2 was the weirdest...I still beat it in two nights though!!!

Mario 3 was hard back then, especially World 8, but I still beat that shit. I remember staying up in the wee hours of the morning after Christmas trying to beat it.

I have the GameCube Version. It's very hard. I can't get past the second Boss.

Yeah, i bet those games would be so easy now. IAm going on all the old sonics (they got re-released on the modern consoles recently). They are so easy

Mario 3 world 8? hmmmmm, that was the final world right? Where u fought on those ships that had the moving screen, then u got some rock hard levels and the map was all dark?

Remember the few levels that had that sun that chased u on mario 3? He scared me when i was little lol Good memories with me VS my brother or whomever.

"but we said no flutes to be used this time" "oh whatever". (remember one could be luigi and one could be mario doing the levels together)

Mario 2 would still be rock if i wouldn't use the warp pipes.

Maybe I'm too old,but I find many games now-a-days very hard. I even found Mario World very difficult.

oh my god u r killing me here!!! I used them damn "Warp Zones" too!! It use to be fun trying to see where you would end up. It was funny, the person I would play would go to the bathroom or something while I was playing on like level 2 or something and then they would come back and I would be on level 4!!! That shit was off the hook, I always knew all the little hideouts and shortcuts.

i most definitely feel you on that, my boyfriend has the x-box and I was trying to play that damn game and it was too many buttons or something. Everytime I shoot the gun would point up in the air and I couldn't see...I kept getting the buttons confused...I was like you can have this shit, give me MARIO!!!
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Hell yeah. I need to find them mario games again. I cannot find them though. I did see a copy of mario all stars for the snes. I guess i could get that. I never had it as i had the main 3 games already on the nes (or mario toaster as we would call it)

Remember duck hunt?

I can still imagine the noise the dog would make when u missed. Damn, it all comes flooding back.

Ironic as i've been on all the old sonic games of late. Sonic rules.

Iam nintendo loyal, and fuck the new xbox and ps3, nintendo are doing it again with the new controller and console. I swear about a year ago i said to my mate "these next gem consoles play just like the old ones". Now nintendo are addressing that issue by making us play games quite differently. Cant wait.

oh superspaceboy, i remember mario world. I swear i found every bloody level (there was 100 apparantly and I got to about 96 found) and my brother deliberately wiped it off the memory. I killed him for that lol

mario world was sooooo good.

We should seperate Arcade and Home systems here.

The Jump off in the arcade was definitely Spy Hunter

I'm not sure how many people played this game Night Stalker, it was basically a bootleg Space Harrier but that shit was fun. nod

Who remembers Teddy Boy for the master system. That wasn't a cartridge either but a small card.

Teddy Boy was like Crack/Cocaine to me.....
