There was this one cereal that I have very faint memories of that was like, ice cream cones or something. I liked that a lot.

omfg They still make Quisp? They don't sell it in my part of the country! It's probably been well over 20 years since I've had that stuff!

Honeycomb
Cookie Crisp
Froot Loops
AppleJacks
Cocoa Puffs <<<---- my biggest, most consistent favorite during all my sugar-cereal-eating youth
SuperSugarCrisp
Frosted Flakes
Pink Panther Cereal (essentially Frosted Flakes except the sugar on the flakes was pink and would turn the milk pink)
Trix
Corn Pops

also 'regular' cereals (when my mom was in one of her "WE'RE GOING TO ALL EAT HEALTHY NOW! NO MORE SUGARED CEREAL FOR YOU!!" which never lasted long, thank goodness lol:
Kix
Rice Krispies
Puffed Rice
Puffed Wheat
Raisin Bran

i also was a major junkie for CocoaWheats. i'd have eaten that crap for breakfast, lunch and dinner if i could've...

once when i was around 7, i got up early one Saturday and opened a brand new box of this (it was one of my most favorite cereals. forget to include it in my earlier list biggrin) and ate ALL THE CRUNCHBERRIES in the whole box. every last one of them. didn't touch the rest of the cereal, just ate the crunchberries.

my mom was furious at me and punished me by not buying me another box of CrunchBerries for like 3 months or something. or at least it felt like 3 mos when i was only 7. lol

okay this isnt a cereal but i can't help remembering them when i recall favorite cereals from when i was a kid:

does anybody else remember Carnation Breakfast Bars? they came in a yellow box and yellow individual wrappers, and they freakin tasted like candy bars. i think they also came in a peanut butter flavor, but my favorite was the chocolate chip version. any cereal paled in comparison to these bars for me.

Carnation discontinued them in the early 80s sometime. bheart then they brought them back briefly later on, but totally changed the flavor and consistancy of the bar and they just weren't the same (in fact they were pretty awful sad), and now they don't make them at all anymore.

just wondering if anybody else remembered these delicious breakfast bars...
