The last one I saw was probably Broken Flowers. It was a good film with a chance to become a great film, but it didn't quite manage to pull it off. The main character was too much of a mystery. You could interpret his blank face in many different ways - with a certain amount of help provided by the situations - but in the end there wasn't enough embedded in the screenwriting to make it emotionally powerful. Still a very good movie though.

In the movies... Saw 2
At home on TV - I think i watched was House of Wax... All i can say about that is who told Paris she could act... UGH! The day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom - Anais Nin

North Country. That movie almost jerked a couple of tears out of me! it's like a Lifetime made for theater, movie.
i'm sure there were a couple of liberties taken with the script, but it is based on a pretty fucked up true story.

I enjoyed it. But don't go see it if you're expecting a "Hollywood" movie. There's a reason it's playing at arthouse theaters, even though it stars Bill Murray. BTW, as for Murray's character... how did such a "blank" guy have so many girlfriends 20 years ago? His money? My favorite line: "I'm a stalker in a Taurus!"
