Moderator | That was doodie.
Read Phantoms, Life Expectancy, or Fear Nothing by by Dean Koontz instead. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

What's it about? I'm too lazy to google it. Members of a skin head hate group team up with a displaced Russian scientist in a plot to spread Anthrax through NYC. Robin Cook mainly writes creepy medical mysteries like "Coma".He usually has a good hook to his stories. "Vector" puts you right in the character's heads,it was more than a little unsettling to me. "Horror Story" (great title ) by Oliver McNabb is a good read. It's not a Stephen King type of horror in that it doesn't have any curses, mutants, living corpses, aliens, or intelligent weather features in it - it's just about a group of horrible people doing horrible things to other people.
Also "Claw" by Jay Ramsay was good. "Spawn" by Shaun Hutson was good in a cheesy way - definitely B-movie material. I bought these years ago though, and they weren't new then, so they could all be out of print. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP. | |
