I changed my mind Bill Maher once said:
I could never be a politician for many reasons; one of them is, I like to change my mind. And in politics you can't, which is so stupid, because it means voters encourage a candidate not to grow and think. If you're running for office and your position on any issue has changed the slightest bit since you were in grade school, then you're waffling, and you're forever after labeled a "waffler". Even if it means ignoring new information coming to light, be consistent! God forbid you read an article when you got into junior high that gave you information that changed your mind! Changed your mind? In attack ads, you'd find out that's why you "can't be trusted"
I have changed my mind about Janice Dickinson. I still feel her comments at panel on ANTM were funny, honest and accurate, but - after having watched her on The Surreal Life - I've come to see she's an insecure, insensitive, selfish person with a terrible drinking problem. Tell us about something where you've changed your mind.

I used to believe in the God of Abraham
but then I thought how ridiculous it all was... so I became an atheist but then I started practicing Zen and I thought, how arrogant of me to assume that there is no higher being, life force, god, what have you... so now I'm a Zen-Atheist...on those days that I feel like attaching a label, putting on a mask... I believe in something called "god" but it sure does not have anything to do with the the whole Occidental version of a higher power. ***** As for ANTM...I used to feel sorry for the girls that got the boot...got quite nervous and anxious during the elimination process but now I've changed my mind. I think all those pretty girls will be just fine. But I'm still torn between Nic and Lisa...is that her name, the loud blond girl that keeps winning all the stuff? "...literal people are scary, man literal people scare me out there trying to rid the world of its poetry while getting it wrong fundamentally down at the church of "look, it says right here, see!" - ani difranco

Doesn't anyone else want to reply? Surely you've re-evaluated your opinion on something in your lifetime due to evidence that was new to you? It's me, Ace! Out of replies for the first time in years!

In kindergarten and 1st grade, I used to think school was fun. Then came 2nd grade....

I dictated rules for how to respond to one of my threads, plus I complained about the answers I did get.
Since then, I've changed my mind about all that.

i changed my mind about wanting to be sucsessful in life. Maybe i wont "grow" by living the simple life, but all i want is a steady girlfriend, good enough job and enough money for the basics with friends of course. I have some of those already, and i dont want to bother with "sucsess".
TV makes us dream dreams that in the long run, are proberly not worth bothering with even if u achieve it.

No, she is "The World's First Supermodel!" , as she reminds us time and time again on The Surreal Life (which, in her mind, seems to exempt her from exhibiting any sort of behaviour that is not completely self-centred).

when i was little people used to tell me "ya know if you put your mind to it you can be anythingyou want to be" i believed that for a long time. but reality sets in and time acumulates. and before you know it your at a 9-5 job that pays the bills as opposed to being a rockstar

Tell us about something where you've changed your mind. Poor Janice! Her comments were still real. I knew she was insecure, insensitive, and selfish from ANTM season 1. And I still love her (don't think I could be her friend)!! Socks still got butt like a leather seat...
