I often think about it. Children are HARD work. I've been a mom since I was seventeen and I can't imagine a day without having a kid around. I don't want another kid right now, but I often THINK about it. Then I remember all the stuff I have to do for my son and all the money he sucks up and I quickly think of something other than having another child!

biggrin Of course they should eat! They got to grow! But when they have already eaten everything you've got, then what? And what if they are all hungry and I only have 5 loaves of bread and 6 litres of milk left disbelief

Hey ease up a bit Z. We're PARENTS, we know the kids must EAT! Hell, we feed the little buggers, but damn, boys eat A LOT and CONSTANTLY!!!

Parents should teach their children what's right and what's wrong. nod

...including healthy eating patterns.

Why do we have to let them choose what and when to eat? They're supposed to learn from us (who are supposed to know better) neutral

Do you have kids????? Yes, we as parents are responsible and blah, blah, blah. However, growing kids-especially boys-require lots of food! I'm not talking about obese children either. My son is small. My son has never eaten beef or pork. He LOVES vegetables! But his metabolism is so high right now and he burns so much energy that he does require a pretty high intake of food, which means I have to spend more money hence my statement that he is eating me out of house and home.

Besides, we were mostly poking fun at how boys eat and how expensive kids can be! Lighten up!
