Really dude, there are a lot of women that are prettier an classier than Skank Fox! (and you don't wanna know what she looks like now.....)

I thought you and I were actually about to agree on something. I think she's beautiful. Admittedly I can't judge her objectively anymore, but her genuinely happy and cute face and fantastic body is an unbeatable combination. Sam Fox rules! .

I won a contest with this pic, they actually voted it officially to be the best Oktoberfest 2005 pic, I won a Nokia N90 cell-phone.... Not because of the girls, but because we agreed on something. I don't think they consider themselves to be "your" girls though. I might just swing by that Oktoberfest next year... On the other hand, I'm not exactly complaining about the girls around here...

I don't see him very often, but we happened to be in the same area in France at the same time. The picture was taken on a mountaintop where a statue of Mary was overlooking the area. It was dead quiet and very serene. I'm glad I could sneak up on him and capture a little bit of the reflective atmosphere.

I don't see myself as a photographer since I'm not very good at the technical side of it. Plus, I only have a half-crappy digital camera that's so small that you have to hold your breath when you take the picture, because otherwise it might get blurry from the motion. Sometimes the movement from the finger pressing the button is enough to cause motion blur. I don't have a website, mostly because I don't know Html. I once tried to rebuild a website I had with 2000 film reviews that I'd written, but the people I hired bailed out one after the other because they didn't feel motivated enough with the modest pay I could offer them. So I just don't know how to go about getting it done, unfortunately. But again, thanks for your comments.

I can only imagine what you could do with an awesome SLR camera!

i really like the first one and the second one. but i do agree with lleena that it maybe better in black and white. although in black and white it may have a higher contrast that you can easily tone down if thats the case.

the first and last pics are excellent in sepia. in the first one i like how that string in hanging from the middle of his back. for some reason it makes me think of technology 'cause the dude looks so modern and vs nature or the past 'cause of the mountains.

the second one-who are they? do you know them? it looks like a mirror image.

Thanks! You know I have a special appreciatin for your comments since you are an excellent photographer. It's really, really interesting that you noticed that seam/string too! Sometimes when I look at that picture I think "what if it hadn't been there, would I have liked the picture as much then?". I don't think I would. It's crazy how a little detail like that can affect the overall impression - and I think you might be onto something with your theory as well...

Nikki23 actutally asked the same thing, and this was my reply: They're actresses, playing their roles (very well, I might add). They're supposed to be sisters in a short film and I was asked by the director to take a few pics, so I rounded them up and asked them to gaze in different directions to indicate the split between them. Later we become good friends. The girl in the background has apparently been in a bunch of so-called "tits and ass" movies, which she loudly declared one drunken night. They're both very nice people.

I agree. The problem is that I'm too respectful of other people's integrity to be there and shove a camera up their nostril at the right moment. I personally hate it when people take pictures of me. Besides, I'm afraid to take pictures of kids since people might think I'm a paedophile. It's too bad since kids often do the most interesting things and aren't too camera shy. I'm working on my courage to take pics of adults though. I guess the worst thing that could happen would be that I had to defend myself in a fist fight...which would be worth it if the picture turned out the way I hoped, I guess.

Yeah, but the people I know hate having their pictures taken too. And if you ask people before you take the picture, they will look stiff as boards, or have a knowing smirk even if they're looking the other way. I have tried the playing-around-with-the-camera-trick a bunch of times, but then I can't quite get the proper angle or focus. Sometimes it works though. I think what I really have to work on is my speed. I need to pull out the camera, aim, shoot, put it back and walk away within a few seconds. Like a professional assassin! .
