Nothing. sad

I'm in lame ass Holland this year and they don't really celebrate it here. sigh Of course, I decorated my front window pretty well, and carved a pumpkin, etc. There was a Halloween party on Saturday night at one of the bars here in Den Haag, and on the poster it said that if you dressed up you got free absinth. lol So I was going to go with a few friends, and do some sort of half-assed costume (which I hate doing. shake I want to go all out) but they all cancelled on me and I had to stay home. sad I stayed home and watched The Exorcist that night and then last night was just like any other Monday night here. mad

That's Europe for you. smile

I can't believe how slow things are sometimes. We don't really have any super active holidays where everybody participates. I think the biggest thing we have in Sweden is Christmas and then Midsummer as a close runner-up. But at midsummer people usually gets so drunk that the party dies down around midnight anyway. lol

And I absolutely hate it when people cancel in the last minute! stab It often makes me think that they were never actually planning to go anyway; they just thought it sounded cool to say "yeah let's meet up and do something". rolleyes

Usually people grow out of that. It's like I always say, that when we were young we were immature and silly, then we got into our teens and early twenties and became mature and intellectual, and now we're silly and immature again. lol

Some people still take themselves too seriously though.

Sorry, I always get bitter when people don't "get into" Halloween like I do. lol But why would they though? err I mean, over here they didn't grow up with it as kids.
