Is anyone going to see Rent when it comes out?

I cannot wait!

I never got to see it on stage, but I know the musical score.

Everytime the commercial comes on I start singing.

It looks like they chose a great cast .. I hope it rocks. ...

i'm curious to see 'rent'...is it coming out next weekend?

No, unfortunately it's not coming out until Nov. 23rd. (unless you're in New York. It debut's there Nov. 17)

So, I guess my thread is a bit premature ... but they keep showing the commercial and they're driving me crazy!!


I was just on Amazon.com to buy the CD... but can't decide between the original and the movie update .. which is a bit different..

Very xcited about the movie. Love the show, the love the cast recording.

I saw it on stage...broadway whatever...with Joey from NSYNC.....It was pretty good.

Not sure if I'll see this or not. I think the music is . It's Broadway trying hard to be rock and failing.

I hope to catch this in the theater. The musical itself is good and the cast is rockin. Course there are MANY movies coming out in the next weeks so I'm bound to miss a few of them...

Idina is the Maureen character and was the lead in Wicked, she won a Tony for Wicked and left the cast to film the Rent movie...

and of course there is Jesse as Collins

My daughter's best friend saw me yesterday and was like "hey Mama, we still goin to see Rent when it opens right"

there is a looooong billboard for it across the street from my office, and every day i walk by it and it is like chinese water torture knowing it is coming soon, but not soon enough
