I stand by by statements, which have been mischaracterized as being passive and weak ...only because rather than analyze stated truths ...people twist, malign, and exaggerate without regard for whether they have an authentic understanding of the idea they are rejecting.


Why would a strong man want to dominate a weak, passive woman? That's pretty easy to do and is probably what drives them to the down low ...looking for a challenge.

If I admire strength, obviously I seek that for myself. I want forces to collide and the strongest to dominate. I've stated my feminist views on many threads. And I've stated in numerous threads my admiration for the power couple. Apparently, you people have never met a independent, individualistic, strong, confident woman who still wants to be dominated by her stronger man.

Yes, I want to submit to and nurture him. No matter how strong I am, I want a stronger man.

I've even alluded to characters in the Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged to give you an example of what I mean ...Both Dominique and Dagny are incredibly powerful women who nurture and submit to their men. If you want to discuss the psychology behind this ...please do.

Apparently not many people on this thread read. And one poster keeps referring to romance novels and I fear he thinks Rand writes romance. While she is a Romantic in the classic sense (in that she deals with idealism, transcendence and heroism,) she's not some mawkish sentimental writer.
