abierman's quest for the holidays

I know, we still have some two months to go.....but days are getting shorter, so I'm starting to think about it:

WHERE DO I GO DURING THE FRIGGIN' DECEMBER HOLIDAYS????

OK, I'm single (anyone? orgnote me! lol) so family is not an option.....Let's be honest, one can only survive the holidays with the family when one is certain of a shag afterwards to relief the stress.....

So, I'm thinking about going on tour again, there are some places where I could go (in no specific order):

* Patagonia, Argentina definitely the most expensive option (and therefore the least feasable), it would great to go there.....me & my iPod, no org, a backpack and hiking-shoes (well, maybe a golfbag), wondering around the great, great country-sides (do a google-search!), eating schnitzels and looking for old nazis that are still hiding there.....

* California, SF & Tahoe already did this, is definitely cool, skiing in Squaw Valley and visiting my favorite US-city. Maybe I'd get to see DOOK naked and steal his lovely girlfriend, get drunk with Gemini13 and see if she is really prettier than Jennifer Love Hewitt & her rack (pic will be taken) and have some drinks & conversations with MIGUELGOMEZ.....tickets to SFO are cheap if I book soon!

* Cork, Ireland to drag Nikki23 away from her family & fans to declare her my everlasting love, take her to that place in Kinsale and go golfing on Old Head, and she'll get me drunk on Guinness & Irish Whiskey....we'll laugh. Ofcourse I love the rain and the Irish kitchen... neutral

* Skiing somewhere in the Alps nothing new, always fun.....X-mas sucks for that though, expensive and not sure of snow- & weather-conditions.....

* Stay in Amsterdam and get very depressed about another year that has gone by, thinking about all the things you will do differently in the coming year, listening to Counting Crows' 'Long December' a thousand times.....getting drunk.

I am sure there are a lot of other options, just let me know.....These are the ones I could think of right now.....

What are you doing during the holidays????

Aksel...I would say Argentina. Without an inch of doubt pal. I was there in Y2K - Buenos Aires for the most part and i was to the amazing Iguazu falls too. Buenos Aires is a stunning city with incredible architecture. Plus, people are really nice, night life is hot hot hot hot and you'll probably eat there, the most delicious T.Bone of your all life. It's an expensive trip but worth any €... wink

Iguazu falls, here's a sample. A place you can visit by helicopter if you want (That's what i did biggrin )

Aksel, Méribel is part of the "3 vallées", the most bigger skiing area in the whole world. Amazing place for skiing. You'll have outstanding time there wink
