You know...

We haven't had a good spate of Euro-Pop in the U.K. for years.

There used to be Snap, Haddaway, MC Sar and The Real McCoy, Aqua, The Vengaboys, 2 Unlimited, Technotronic, Vannesa Paradis, Whigfield, Desireless, Captain Something and The Fantastic 24/7 People - or something like that.

The last few big acts from mainland Europe have been novelty songs and one-hit wonders, like the Ketchup Song or Mad'House and that awful trio who danced on top of a plane in their video. I can't think of their name or what the song was called. I think it was about sitting under a tree. Ooh, the tune's in my head.
